For the past couple days I’ve been creating a Wishing Tree together with the children of my classroom（The children helped me make it, then wrote their hopes/wishes for the year on the thin pieces of paper). This activity’s purpose was to bring the kids together as a community and teach them to rely on each other and look out for each other. The rest of the school year they will work in a classroom
together every single day, so it’s important to establish a learning community.
I’d like to know why the government can’t spend more time, money and resources so that HK’s public schools can ALL have this type of learning environment? Why do children have to attend expensive HK private schools to have this type of learning?
You are really going to spend time and energy pushing something like National Education, instead of fixing the most important problem with HK’s education? Where is the LOVE for learning which should be at the HEART of all schools?
