Who is in the band? How and when did it
start?
Brian is the vocalist. Raoul and Yardley play guitar. Hey is on the bass
and Ming on the drums. We started our band in the summer of 2003 just
because we love music. We found each other because Ming, Hey and Raoul
are all my schoolmates. Brian is a friend and we all came together
because our attitudes are similar.
Why did you choose the name Los En Found?
Originally, we were called Lost And Found – the place where you go to
find property that you’ve lost. We agreed that the meaning of “Lost and
Found” is significant to us so we chose it. However, then we thought the
name was a bit formal, so we messed around with the letters and it
became Los En Found.
What bands and type of music are your main influences?
All kinds of band who play Metal, Hardcore, Punk, and Emo.
What type of bands do you consider “emo”?
Bands like Taking Back Sunday. Brian
considers himself as an “emo kid”, I’m some where between hardcore and
emo.
You guys are much younger – how old are you guys and when did you
start playing music?
Actually most of our members are already 20 except Brian. We started our
journey with music around when we were 18 years old.
What is your dream show that you want to play one day?
The Van’s Warped Tour in the US and the Midi Festival in China.
Why do you want to play the Midi festival in China (Beijing)?
Because this festival represents the music of China. It’s the first
music festival and biggest in China.
What was the first show you watched in Hong Kong? What do you
remember from that show?
Brian: KC IVE which was Lam Kei’s last show
Yardley: Warehouse open day in 1999
What do you remember about that show? Who played?
King Ly Chee probably played but I actually don’t remember much about
the show because I’m absent-minded. I remember that the bands were heavy
much heavier then the bands now. Maybe I was just young! I remember the
people were all tall and everything was in chaos! I just remember that
this show was what introduced me to loud music and I realized that the
attitude of “hardcore” was awesome. Before this show, I had never seen
nor heard of a “loud music” show before so I was very confused at the
time. But after that show I asked my friends to introduce some more
bands to me.
So what type of bands did your friends introduce to you?
Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Machinehead.
What has been your favorite foreign band that has come to Hong Kong?
Brian: The Cooper Temple Clause
Hey: Dream Theater
Raoul: Dream Theater
Yardley: FC Five |

What is the future for your band? What do
you hope to accomplish?
Like what most other bands want to accomplish: perform a show with their
favorite bands, releasing a CD.
What do you hope is the future of Hong Kong’s music community?
From the underground to above ground. Hope that more people will truly
understand the meaning of music, bands and the attitudes.
Tell us the 5 most important CD’s you think we should hear and why?
Brian: From First To Last - Dear Diary , My Teen Angst Has A Body Count
Raoul: Eighteen Vision – Obsession
Yardley: Refused – Shape Of Punk To Become
Hey: Story Of The Year – Page Avenue
Ming: Bleed The Dream – Built By Blood
