  • 120,000 People on the street fighting!

Posted by on September 9, 2012

I am glad that I was involved with the siege and takeover of the Government Headquarters in Hong Kong. It’s a valuable lesson I learn in my life. It reminds me that when people unite, we can have more power to fight back. For people who don’t know about this. Our Hong Kong government is pushing the national education to primary and secondary school this year. The contents is very questionable because they want the kids to love their country – China however you don’t love your country by reading one side story, but by observing and living in it. People in Hong Kong worry that kids will be brainwashed in early age so a group of high school students, parents, teachers joined force to form a group to fight against the Government’s one sided decision. As a result, on Friday night there were over 120,000 people on the street protesting! So check out this amazing photo taken by a photographer!

  • Tattooing

Posted by on August 29, 2012

Well it’s been awhile that I post in KLC. My life’s been very busy lately because there are so much stuffs to do. Spending time in Guangzhou with my wife and try to be a good husband, learning & practicing tattooing, distributing Quintin (action sport brand) and some freelance design works.

Tattooing is pretty fun thing to do and I am glad I have started it since May. Again thanks Colin who encouraged me to give it a try! We were walking around Granville Rd. in Tsim Sha Tsui when Colin came to Hong Kong to be our fill-in-drummer. As we passed by a tattoo shop called Star Crossed, I told Colin that I wanted to learn & try tattooing for a long time, though I never got an opportunity to do it. So he knew I didn’t have a job at the time and he told me why shouldn’t I try it now. I thought oh yeah why not! So since May I have been learning and practicing from this local tattoo shop called 6.8 Tattoo (

Since I was a little kid I have already enjoyed drawing & painting. At school I always get good score in art class but it was my high school art teacher Mr. DiLeonardo who got me to understand ART. He taught me art is not just drawing/painting good but the way you express it. I can’t imagine after all these years, I am able to create art in the form of tattooing.

Just helped to design the cover for “Core in China Compilation”. The bottom of the cover is the city of Shenzhen in its 70s. The top part of the cover is an up-side-down end of world image. Anyway, this compilation contains 20 bands from China. Check it out from the below website. This compilation also features a song from King Ly Chee!

It’s been a long time haven’t posted in here KLC website. Now a day I spend a lot of times in Guangzhou with my wife. Anyway, life is good just hope that I can get more freelance projects.

Practice with Collin was great! This guy is an amazing musician and a great guy. On Saturday we practiced with him the very first time we were already all stoked by his great drumming. He learned 18 songs in a month with drum pad. UNBELIEVABLE!!! He is making every one of us better. We can’t wait to tour with him starting this Friday!

Check out his hard work from last two days!

Made the following image to show you their first self-titled 7″ and the upcoming Nonstop albums.

    Take care everyone!

  • Fucked Up Spine

Posted by on October 28, 2011

After the x-ray last night, the chiropractor showed me the cause of my lower back pain. From the right x-ray it shows that the spinal disc is so thin that the disc is almost gone. Then on the left x-ray, my spin is actually crooked.

So last night started my first treatment and it was a bit painful after. I couldn’t even stand straight after. The doctor told me that the treatment is to open up the thinning disc. She also performed some treatment which is to straighten my spine. I also need to take some supplement to help treat the discs.

Hopefully one day this chronic back pain will go away!
