sorry everyone...the website that will host the EP is still
not ready...our friend John in the UK is working all night to get
this thing done and up immediately...but as with all websites, he's
encountering countless technical problems...he did finish the
English version but Painkiller doesn't want to put up the site until
the Chinese version is ready. and we agree with them... maybe today? we hope so...
really sorry about all of this!!!
JANUARY 30, 2008: OKAY - today is the big day!!! it should be today that we
will be releasing the EP online!!! right now as i type this it is
the night of the 29th and we still don't have the website finished.
our friend in the UK got sick over the weekend and was unable to
finish the website on time. now i'm hoping that i when i go to sleep
tonight he will be able to send the final designs to us by the time
i wake up (because the UK is 8 hours behind HK). BUT - then the
problem is that the Painkiller webmaster needs to look at the files
and then arrange it so that it is linked to the Painkiller website.
BUT then there is another problem - a lot of my friends and contacts
in Mainland China don't receive my emails!!! it's terrible and must
be such a pain for them to get things done. emails get lost up in
China all the time and they just don't arrive for some strange
reason.
ANYWAY - some time today the EP will be ready for you to download.

JANUARY 28, 2008: yo...so the bad news is that our drummer boy screwed up his
wrist 2 weeks ago and it is wrapped up like crazy, he's also been
getting Chinese therapy everyday
tit da" (i don't know what this is in english) to get his wrist
ready by this saturday's show...especially this is our first show of
the new year and we're really excited about playing!!! he has been
resting it a lot...we've had two practices with him and he's just
been hitting the drums really lightly so that he doesn't damage his
wrist any more...especially since he's trying to heal it right
now...
so unfortunately...there MIGHT be a chance that he can't
play the whole set on saturday. :-( that's going to suck for
him because i know he really wants to play!
SO - we can't cancel the show especially since HK LIVE has
been so nice to us and has really helped promote the show and us
so...we've come up with some ideas...once again, this involves the
love and support of our friends to help us out...
mike from Shepherds the Weak
is going to learn a couple songs for us to play on saturday...then
Man will come back and play a few songs hopefully if his hand feels
okay...then our friend Egas the drummer of the Macanese band Uni-K
who are playing on saturday will come on at the end and help us play
Refuse! hahahaha...
it's going to be a fun and interesting night!!!
of course...Man is going to try his best to fix up his wrist and get
more help to see if he can do something and hopefully play the WHOLE
set...wish him luck!!!
anyway...好的稍息是我們再找了好的朋友幫我們...很幸福有點朋友可以幫我們忙...shepherds the

我生病了!!damn...brian也生病了!!! 還有Man的手受傷了...SUCKS!!! 他還不知道可不可以玩下個禮拜的演出...
昨天晚上終於有排練...哈哈哈...好久沒練歌...
昨天我們的好朋友24 Herbs(二十四味)出了他們第一張唱片!!! 我很期待買!!!
dude - i'm sick as hell right now...brian is sick too...and Man
messed up his wrist l last week and he doesn't know if he can
play next week's show!!! we're all hurting man...it's crazy...
last night was the first time we finally jammed...it's been
almost a month since the last time we practiced...but with half the
band sick or hurt - it was quite a funny practice...borderline lame
really...hahahahaha
yo our homies in 24 Herbs have finally released their album!!! can't
wait to check it out!!!!

對不起大家我剛剛有留意我很久沒有用中文打這裡的message!!! 可是是因為我這個月非常忙!!!
為我們的EP我有很多事需要作...還有我們下月有兩場演出...其中一場是我們今年的第一場演出! 是在香港其中一個很有名藝術中心叫The
Fringe Club(中文名字是:
藝穗會)!
在這個演出我們有請兩個好朋友的樂隊跟我們一起來演出.
一個樂隊是香港metalcore樂隊叫
Maniac...第二個樂隊是澳門metalcore樂隊叫Uni-K.
非常開心再有機會跟這兩個樂隊來演出!
這個禮拜六我將會幫香港metalcore GIANTS Shepherds the
Weak玩吉他因為他們一個吉他手太忙了所以不能去...可是他們就是上個禮拜四跟我說!!! 只有幾天的時間學他們五首歌!!!
希望我不會mess up!!!

it's been awhile since i've
posted anything in chinese so i thought it was about time to post
some stuff up.
we've been busy all month...we haven't even had time to practice
yet...we've been busy for our EP that we're finally releasing next
week!!! FINALLY! can't wait for all of you to check it out...i'm
just excited that all of you will have time to hear full english
version of songs!!! hahahaha...especially for all our brothers and
sisters down there in Malaysia who have been supporting us for
YEARS!!!
anyway - next month we've got 2 awesome shows that we're super
excited about!!! hopefully you guys will come out and support!!! Feb
23rd show we really hope you guys will come out and celebrate the
release of our EP with us!!
this saturday i'm helping my lovely brothers in HK's metalcore KINGS
and i mean KINGS Shepherds the Weak play a show because their guitar
player Mushie isn't available. i can't wait!!! i'm so excited about
this!!! the bastards of course only gave me like a few days to learn
5 songs! hahahahaha...hopefully i won't mess it up!!! expect to see
me running around on stage as usual hahahaha...see you there

JANUARY 22, 2008: yo celebrated our brother Richie's birthday last night in
wan chai...that was a nice night of hanging out with some of my
closest buddies in HK's band scene...STW dudes are good dudes...so
happy birthday Richie!!! get ready for some kick ass Pakistani meets
Filipino jam tonight! hehehehehe...opeth song - here i come you
bastard! :-) hehehehehe... enjoy this little pic of us about to devour this special

JANUARY 21, 2008: dude i had a GREAT weekend!!! started the weekend by
watching American Gangster...such a good movie...it's long but
totally worth it. every second and every minute of that movie is so
good. denzel washington is incredible in the movie as soon as that
tool russell crowe...(no i'm not a big fan)...he's kind of got that
I am Sam role..saturday i spent sleeping!!! i slept like 13 hours on
friday night and woke up in the early afternoon of saturday. it was
great to get so much sleep man...SO great...i don't usually sleep
that much. even on saturdays i usually wake up super early. but this
is the one saturday where my girlfriend called me at 1:30pm and i
was still asleep. craziness...then i spent the next few hours
printing more posters and flyers for the upcoming EP and show...G
has been handing those things out and hanging them up at shops. she
said she's already posted all the ones that she has up so we have to
reprint stuff again...promotion for this upcoming EP and show seems
to going well i hope!!! the punks in STW forgot to hand out flyers
at the underground show that they went to. grrrr...hahahahha...speaking
of STW...jammed with Terence and Mike last night on 4 STW songs that
i've got down pretty well i think: "gin and tonic" , "reborn",
"false idols", "behind these walls"...they want me to learn another
song that we've nicknamed "opeth" because of a part in the middle of
the song that totally sounds like an opeth song...but this song IS
CRAZY hard to play...they have so many progressive parts in this
song...anyway...we'll see if i can learn before saturday...

JANUARY 18, 2008: oh my god i am so tired!!! i am really looking forward to
friday night so i can finally get some sleep...last night i went to
the wanch to watch my brothers in STW play...good seeing them play
and they only played new songs so it was rad...they have a show next
week at Pier Pressure and Mushie can't play so i'll be playing
guitar for them. i don't know if you know but some of their new
songs are crazy...these are the nicknames they've given to the new
songs "gin and tonic" , "hatebreed", "opeth"...each one of those
names is totally appropriate because those songs sound like those
bands! plus these bastards have never recorded these songs even
rough demo's...so i have to learn them just from JR singing me
the riffs! hahahaha...bastards...
we've uploaded all the information for our Ferbaury shows!!! THEY'RE
ALL GREAT SHOWS!!! can't wait to play again!!! i especially can't
wait to play AFTER you've all downloaded the EP!!! :-)

JANUARY 15, 2007: our e-card is up now!!! thanks to everyone to the
wonderfully positive comments we've received so far!!! it's great to
hear your reactions to this...it's great to see so many people who
are excited to hear this EP when it comes out on January 30!!
we are still working on the website that will release this EP on jan
30...can't wait to see how that will look!

JANUARY 11, 2008: dude...last night i saw the first draft of our E-card for
the EP...it's AMAZING!!! brains' friend Wilson has worked so hard on
this thing and spent so many hours on this e-card...we are forever
in debt to his help and support to put together one of these things
for us!!! hopefully we'll be able to upload the e-card on monday...
brians other friend Raymond
recently took some band photos for us...guess what happened? 2 days
ago we went up to the bandroom to hear the first mixes that brains
has been working on...while we were there the rest of us were trying
to set up my camera to take band photos. right as soon as we set up,
the battery on my camera died!!! and it's one of those annoying
cameras that take SPECIFIC batteries!!! so when brian's friend came
up to take photos he took like two photos with the camera, then
guess what he had to use? he used brian's telephone camera!!!
WHAT?!?!??!! hahahahahahahaha...that was ridiculous!!! but after the
photo raymond took the photos and edited them SO WELL that they look
pretty damn cool! we're actually going to use this photo for
upcoming promos including the E-card...
okay - that's the update...we owe both Wilson and Raymond a lot for
their help...if we weren't such a poor band then we could pay them
for their services...but we are a poor band...heavy bands in HK
don't have any hope to be able to make it HUGE! that's just a dream
that we watch on TV or read about in magazines...
our upcoming Feb 2 show is going to be great!!! our good friends
from Macau - Uni-K are going to be playing! also our other good
friends the great metal band Maniac will also be playing!!! it's
going to be a great night! it's also going to be our FIRST show in
the new year and FIRST show after we released the EP!!!

chee choir...this included the world famous
DJ-electro-magnetic-powerhouse-bass player of Violent Jokes himself
the Master Griff! we also had the audio/visual genius extraordinaire

JANUARY 8, 2008: brian is hard at work mixing the EP right now!!! can't
wait to hear it...we're going to have our first listen tonight so we
all can't wait!!! also, lots of exciting coming up...like new shirt
designs etc! that's going to be rad...can't wait...working with some
cool people on this...the whole EP we're working with lots of great
people all over asia and the world...so excited...

JANUARY 7, 2008: back in HK...boohoo...
will upload the photos to my faebook page over the next few
days...had a great time!!! hung out with yos and nic lovesong
these past few days in bangkok and that was rad...bought so much
shit in bangkok it's crazy...nic asked an interesting questions -
why do thai people need to come to HK to shop!??!?! they have
everything plus SO MUCH more over there...there's no reason for them
to come here...
okay bed time...back to work tomorrow morning...
JANUARY 5, 2008: this is what i
typed a couple days ago when i was in vientiane...right now i'm back
in bangkok and hung out with my good pal thelovesong Nic and the
legend Yos (in charge of YOS Fest and organizing the As I Lay Dying
show in bangkok a few months ago)...
"hanging out in vientiane...the capital of a little country called
Laos that is surrounded by: China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Myanmar
(used to be called Burma)...
i had NO idea what to expect before we came here (my girlfriend and
i) and i have to say that i was totally surprised that this
"capital" city was more like a tiny little town. i didn't do the
proper research obviously, because once i got here i was like where
the hell are all the people?! i looked it up and found out this
capital city only has 350,000 residents!!! what the hell!?!??! more
like a small town! hahahaha...but it's been great visiting this
place which is still pretty much like it has been decades
ago...untouched with commercialization or globalization. yes, there
are lots of backpacker type people...and there are quite a few
guesthouses and hotels, but overall, the people here all look like
they're still living in the 80's. even the "local" pop music that we
hear everywhere reminds me of 1980's Beyond! every time hear this
one particular Lao song we start singing the Beyond version!
hahahahaha...
i thing a great sign of this city is that there are no mcdonalds and
no starbucks...can you believe that? there's actually a capital city
on this plane that doesn't have either one of these things! it's
awesome - forces all these "guai lo" backpackers to enjoy the LOCAL
food for once! actually, there are a bunch of "diner" type of places
that make western food and that's where you find all the "guai lo's"...
i'll upload photos from this trip when i'm back in hong kong on
sunday night..."
tomorrow i'm going to JJ market!!! can't wait to go...it's been a
long time since the last time i was there...the last time i was
there was when king ly chee played at YOS fest in 2006...also, Yos
just told me that all the punk/hardcore/metal/emo boys in Thailand
keep asking about G! hahahaha...they all really want to see her
again here in thailand... :-)

是在他們的首都!!! 可是這個城市一點都不像一個城市...是非常小的而且沒有那麼多人! 這裡一共就有三十五萬人!

DECEMBER 31, 2007: new year's eve!!!! i'm in bangkok right now bceause we had
to stop here for one night before going to laos later today...we fly
at 7pm and arrive in laos around 9pm...in time for some sort of
countdown!!! can't wait...
it's hot dude...hot in bangkok but quite comfortable..my pal
lovesong nic is coming to bangkok on friday so we'll get to hang out
with him when he gets here...i'll be in laos for 5 days and then
back in bangkok for the weekend to go crazy at JJ market...i hope
they have some cool shit!!! have a great new year's eve everyone!!!
2017...going to be a great year...hopefully our government
won't mess it up in 2012...the china government said that it is up
to us to make the "gradual" move to universal suffrage...but that
they back it...that's HUGE news...
DECEMBER 30, 2007: speechless...i'm totally speechless at how incredible our
show was last night at hitec...there are only two reasons why the
show was so good for us because as most of you will know and as most
bands have already been saying, the sound last night was not
ideal...but the reasons why last night's show was amazing:
1. You the audience...once we got on stage, we could already
feel the fire in your hearts...we knew you just wanted to go nuts
and were ready for us...it was incredible to have that feeling while
i was on stage...i am lying to you, i could FEEL your fire...it got
me so pumped up and ready to rock that stage and rock hitec no
matter what the sound situation was... 2. Was our friends...especially our brothers in Shepherds
the Weak, Ryan Hui and Soler...all those guys were so excited to see
us. That feeling is beyond any description, the feeling where your
friends are excited for you to get on stage and kill it...having our
brothers in Shepherds the Weak come out on stage was on the best
things to happen...not just one guy from STW, but the whole band!
that's friendship...we can only hope and pray that you are lucky
enough to have friends like STW...but that type of friendship is
hard to find in Hong Kong. Friendship that is based on trust and
HONESTY...not talking behind someone's back, isolating a person, or
pretending that this whole "scene" is your frickin' high school. We
are not children, and we don't need to be friends with children. if
we do something wrong we expect our friends to tell us to our FACE
so that we can change and make positive changes within ourselves.
that's friendship...that's what our song My Family is about...
thank you everyone for last night...it was a spectacular way to end
this incredible year for us...we want to thank all of those people
who came from Guangzhou to see this show!!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!
the passion and heart you guys brought to the show last night for us
was great!!! just what the show needed!!!
OKAY - so the news for 2008:
1. We will launch a new E-card for the EP on January 1st
2. On Jan 30 we will launch the free EP for all of you to download,
spread around the world, burn on to CD, whatever the hell you want
to do with it!
watch out for all of this...
today i'm flying to Laos and i won't be back until Jan 6th...have a

DECEMBER 29, 2007: i can't believe that benazir bhutto is dead...what the
hell...the country that i'm from is completely in chaos...why when
india just next door is developing so fast we can't get our
country's people to work together for the better of the whole
country. instead we fight with each other...instead we kill each
other...assassinate each other...the rich in this country own
everything and run everything...while the poor just get poorer and
poorer...after this meaningless killing it just shows this country
is still not ready to move ahead...there are too many stupid idiots
who live in this country that want the country to be left lawless,
there are parts of this country that are totally lawless...and they
want it this way...
totally in shock...another black day in the history of our
country...
昨天又是巴基斯坦歷史的很黑的日子.
DECEMBER 27, 2007: woah not often does so many holidays fall into the same
period! besides christmas, of course, hanukah also falls on this
same period as the main Jewishholiday, and then for Muslims one of the biggest
celebrations called Eid also fell during this ssame period a few
days ago!
so technically we should all be saying:
merry christmas happy hanukah Eid mubarak and happy holidays for the non-religious folk!
these past few days have been a lot of fun for me hanging
out at various christmas parties, and eating way TOO much food!!!
holy hell...i feel like a bag of crap right now because of all the
food that i've consumed these past few days...
time for band practice tonight...we have a show on saturday but none
of us know anything about the show...we don't know if we're the
first band to play (the show starts at 4) or somewhere in the
middle...we also don't know how much time we have and how many songs
we can play... should be a good time though! can't wait to watch
soler and Chui Ball Tong! ...chui ball tong is from guangzhou and
they're an amazing rock band...our friends in Chisel My Records are
going to release their newest album in hong kong in march of 2008!
okay..the message above i typed before i had band practice...its 4am
now and i just got home from band practice, then recording backing
vocals for the english version of Refuse, then jamming with STW on
the song behind these walls that i'll be singing for on saturday...
i got to walk home from the tunnel in humg hom all the way back to
my house in tst...i love this walk especially late at night when its
just me, my ipod and my annoying depressing thoughts that i usually
get at 3am about life, and where i am in my life...i always get like
this when i'm half awake and really tired...all i want to do is go
to sleep...but i put on some American Football or The Appleseed Cast
in my ipod and out come my horrible negative thoughts about life.
that's the one thing i hate about "emo" and when i say emo i don't
mean my chemical romance crap - i mean stuff like american football,
mineral, the appleseed cast, stuff like that...music that gets me
thinking right away, but its always sad thoughts...annoying if you
ask me...but i think everyone needs this type of music...music that
will question your life and your decisions...you never know what's
in store for you tomorrow. you just hope and pray that it's a good
day...in KLC we've been taking everything day by day and it really
helps. it helps because then when we're met with non-stop
disappointments, we can handle the letdowns so much better. but
that's life - no one owes us anything...we're here making our own
history and making our own tomorrow. you're either with us or
not...those who are not can't be any more obvious...but that's just
how life goes.
i have no idea what i'm typing...i really should just go to sleep
before i type something that i really don't mean and that will of
course be taken the wrong way! hahahaha... :-)

DECEMBER 24, 2007: wow last week of 2007...its crazy...just thinking about that
is crazy...started the year so strange knowing that we were about to
embark on a t our with NOFX...now look at us...a year has passed and
we're about to release an awesome EP fo free to the world...great
things are in are future i can feel it...
DECEMBER 23, 2007: recording backing vocals for the english versions of the
songs this morning...G has scheduled us all to come in at 10am to
record backing vocals!!! oh my god...early as hell...but that's what
we're about...we've got a job to do and we have to get it
done...what's sleep when your life is in your hands and the future
of the band! :-) great attitude and i'm psyched that the members of
this band think this way...
dude - pong is sick again! again! poor guy!

it's AMAZING AMAZING!!! when i finished listening to it my heart was
full of pride...knowing that asian bands are coming with full force
showing their unbelievable skills in writing brutal music for the
world to hear! Filipino metal is up there with the best in the game
that's for sure!

for free online!!! more information will be coming out on Jan 1 when
the E-card is out...
for TST residents...Burger King is open in TST!!! yes there indeed is
a god!!! and he/she works flipping burgers in burger king for
pakistanis like me! hahahaha...

DECEMBER 20, 2007: hey watched I am Legend a few days ago..VERY impressed with
this movie...i was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time!!!
i recommend people watch this in the movie theater...it's just not
the same to watch a movie like this on your tiny little TV. unless
some of you own like 60" plasma TV's. in which case, how come you
haven't invited us over! Gee! some people! hahahaha...
our very own guitar hero brian had a a very nice surprise happen to
him yesterday...
his girlfriend lives in Australiza so they've been keeping up a long
distance relationship...yesterday his girlfriend asked him to go to
the airport to pick up a friend of ours. so brian, being the nice
guy that he is - went all the way out ot the airport to pick up her
friend. while he was waiting at the gate, guess who the "friend"

okay - gotta go to work..today is the last day of school before we
go off for christmas break. a few of the children are leaving Hong
Kong over the break. so this break is always bittersweet. we're
happy to finally have a break, but also sad because some of the se
wonderful children that we've gotten so close to, we'll never see
again because they're moving... :-(
like always - you just pray that you have done your job right and
that these children grow up to be successful in whatever their heart
desires...

DECEMBER 17, 2007: in the bandroom with G and bring recording english versions
of Skinless...can't wait until all of you hear the english versions
of our EP!!! sounds so good...of course i think it's great because i
wrote the english lyrics! hahahaha... wait until you see the lyrics of "skinless"...awesome
lyrics...i feel like its 30 years of frustration being a minority in
HK and finally i can get it off of my chest...its got anger, its got
my frustration, its got my positivity...any minority in HK i think
will feel power and a sense of ownership with these lyrics having
lived and felt the same things that i have felt growing up
here...maybe i'll cheat a little bit and post the complete lyrics up
here in the next few days...

then through the baby out of her window. oh my god...oh my god...the
newspaper said that the baby was born dead. and they think that the
14 year old girl was already freaked out that she was pregnant at
such a young age, and then when she gave birth to the baby (in her
home it said) and because the baby was born dead (stillborn)
she freaked out and threw the baby out the window. oh my god.
DECEMBER 12, 2007: these past two days G's been busy recording english versions
of our 6 song free EP that we will be releasing in january...sounds
awesome!!! i wrote the lyrics so of course the lyrics rule! hahahaha...

hardcore has been released these past few years? these are some of
the best hardcore bands and releases to EVER come out i think...
DECEMBER 10, 2007: okay...i know that like us you guys have waited a LONG time
to find out what is going on with our damn EP that we were supposed
to release in october! WELL!!! here's an update...well - all the
songs were recorded back in september and we were ready to release
it in october...we have been ready to release it for a long time.
anyway, for some reason it hasn't happened yet. and since we don't
like to sit around and wait, we took matters into our own hands. we
have now worked something out with an company that we LOVE because
they have been supporting us for a long time and have the greatest
people working for them!!! we are now trying to work everything out
with them and hopefully we'll be able to release this EP in january!!!
the one good thing about this EP that will get you ALL excited -
it's going to be free. yes - you read that right.

much for waiting...and we're sorry that it's taking so long...

remember when i was a kid and i had this...it sucked...i was
scratching myself like CRAZY...poor dude!
last night iw as bored so i searched youtube for some old
school videos of bands that i haven't listened to in a LONG ASS
time...bands like Snapcase...and then for some random reason i ended
up on an old Zoinks! video!!! i don't know if any of you have ever
heard of this OLD pop-punk band!!! dude...i used to LOVE these guys!

all my heart like Snapcase again...and stumbled on an old jawbreaker

me goosebumps listening to it now especially because i still
remember what i was doing when i first heard this song. of course,
as it is with most pop-punk or emotional-punk stuff, the songs seem
to matter the most when you've just had your heart broken!

when i was depressed as hell because of yet another girl. damn

DECEMBER 4, 2007: yo our awesome singer found an Ambitions video online!!!
anyone that knows me knows that i LOVE this band right now...i am
SOOO psyched that she found this video...the song is awesome...after
watching the video, i was a little disappointed, but at least it is
a funny video. i wonder what it is with hardcore bands and shooting
videos about death and weird horror things! hahahaha...Comeback Kid
did that also with an old video too called "Die Tonight"...actually,
this Ambitions video to me looks exactly like that Comeback Kid
video...anyway - if you want quality hardcore - not metalcore - then
check out Ambitions like i haven't said it a million times...

DECEMBER 2, 2007: dude...i had such a boring weekend...i got kind of used to
having a show every weekend to play...if it was up to me, we would
have a show every saturday somewhere...i hate not playing...my life
is so simple: work, studying, hanging out with alison, king ly chee
king ly chee king ly chee king ly chee...that's it...nothing else
and i don't need anything more...but then when we don't have a show
or haven'g jammed, i just end up going crazy sitting at home doing
nothing. like yesterday...i didn't know what to do with myself all
yesterday so i just slept. watched a few movies and then slept some
more...then watched another a movie and then fell asleep some more.
now its 7am on sunday morning and i'm wide awake...
any hardcore news? a band called Ligeia or whatever released a
video...video is kind of cool because it looks like it's a
collection of live shows - but the song SUCKS...i've never gotten
into this band and this song reminds me why.
positive news is that With Honor got back together for a few
shows!!! oooohhh - with honor...i would love to have seen them after
the "heart means everything" album...what a great album that was...
other news...the inaugural Malaysian Hardcore Festival happened over
the last weekend and almost 1,000 kids showed up to support!!! our
brother Jana was the main man that put it on and he went all out to

NOVEMBER 29, 2007: yo th eweather in HK is soooooo awesome!!! it's nice and
cool and it's such an amazing time here right now...humidity is low
so all the ladies look lovely because their hair isn't fro-ing
out...hahahha...
then only thing that i hate about winter is that i start
getting all emo during this weather. this weather always makes me
think too much...not good thoughts usually...i always end up
becoming a lot more sensitive about things...maybe its cause there's
so much more darkness during the winter...my girlfriend REALLY loves
it when i'm in this mood - NOT...alison totally hates it...she's
always like "YOU'RE SO SENSITIVE!!!" and then she strangles
me..hahhahaha..
all the violence that took place at the forum last sunday for the
election candidates was so ridiculous. i'm happy that people are
coming out and saying that this is HOng KOng and HK is known for
calm and rational people...not violent and overly emotional
people...stay calm...that's what we need...beijing is watching
us...if we can't stay calm about these elections how are we going to
be able to stay calm the day that we are going to be voting for our
chief exectutive?
NOVEMBER 27, 2007: yo...it's all about Piledriver for me...hahahaha...last
night i was listening to them thinking about just how amazing this
band must be live!!! we never got to play with them because when
went to manila in april we just played with NOFx and a bunch of more
emo-rock type of bands. but the nice dudes in piledriver came out
and showed some asian hardcore love...i hope someday when we get to
go back to the philippines we get to play with these dudes and other
filipino hardcore bands!!昨天我有聽菲律賓的hardcore樂隊叫Piledriver...我們上次去菲律賓演出沒有機會跟他們演出...希望下次有機會再做一個亞洲tour可以跟他們玩機場!

stupid history channel right now...TV is so boring in HK...even if

choices when all the choices are garbage. makes no sense...
at last night's show i got to meet a lot of kids from shatin
college...it's so cool that all these schools in HK are really into
supporting this little scene. i think they said that the second
biggest contingent at the show last night was from KGV or something
like that...pretty cool...

NOVEMBER 21, 2007: thanks everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes
yesterday!!! :-) can't believe i'm frickin' 31 already man...oh my
god...what craziness...i don't feel old at all...but i'm sure i look
old...i don't feel like anything older then 23 man!!! seriously...i
still feel like a kid...still have the energy of a school kid...at
least the kids in my school keep saying "but you are still a
teenager right Mr. Farooqi?" hahahahaha...then i tell them that i'm
actually 31 today...and they're like "WOAH!!!" hahahahha...
i am a bit worried that i'll never grow up though...but the thing is
- i don't want to grow up...i'm fine the way i am right now...i have
some knowledge of how life works now, i have some knowledge of
myself and what it is that i like and dislike in myself, in people i
know, in types of music that i can listen to or not, things that i
am able to do with my life and things that i will never be able to
do...but in general, i am still learning about myself...i am still
constantly making mistakes and i hope i never stop making
mistakes...my whole life i've learned things the hard way (like when
i broke my ankle skateboarding in 9th grade when i 13 years old...i
learned the hard way that riding crappy old skateboards with no grip
left on the grip tape is NOT a good idea...)...but the day i stop
learning things the hard way means that i've stopped learning...i
need to constantly be learning...that's just the way i am...i love
learning about myself, love learning about this world we live in...i
am constantly reading Time magazine and other magazines that discuss
current events in the world...to see what is going on in this crazy
little world...

NOVEMBER 18, 2007: dude i knew the show last night was going to be great...but
i had no idea JUST HOW great it was going to be!!! it was almost a
whole bar full of people who had never seen us before it was great
to play an audience who had no idea what we were about etc...of
course, there were lots of friends and family in the audience to
show us the love and suppo0rt we've been longing for...this new
venue has tons of potential so we're hoping good things happen!!!
hopefully all of you will keep supporting this place so that they
can slowly start upgrading their equipment...last night
unfortunately one of the mic's blew so i couldn't sing etc...G
reminded me after the show that this is the third show in a row that
mic has either disappeared, gotten broken, or otherwise screwed
up...you guys are crazy in the audience! hahahaha...just the way we
like it! :-) these past few shows have been great it feels like we're
coming back...some people, glenn, will know what i mean when i say
that...it's good to know that we still matter...new songs have been
going down SO WELL!!! we couldn't ask for more!!!
all i have to say - i saw Luke Chow moshing for us...that
bastard doesn't believe me that i've actually been typing on this
news page about him and his record! he said he was going to go home
to read this...yeah right - if you're reading this - post a message
in our forum homie! :-)
another dude named joe took some crazy good photos - while

Hope and it has been great getting to play with both these bands

NOVEMBER 16, 2007: woohoo...one more day until the show! i think we should play
in Lak Kwai Fong a lot more often...this is the first show where i
even have colleagues from my school who want to come watch! hahahaha...usually
they don't want to come because they feel too old to watch shows at
the warehouse or any other place in HK. when they watch a show in
LKF they feel more comfortable. so i am expecting quite a lot of NEW
people there who have no idea what's going to happen when we get on
stage!!! hahahaha...i don't think they've ever seen a "mosh" before!
and i'm sure they haven't ever seen a HONG KONG MOSH before!!! BRING

rising financially and economically on the world's stage...pakistan
- it's frickin' neighbor - keeps slipping worse and worse further
down. have the elections - let the power go back to the people...of
course, the danger is that the "people" could essentially vote in an
extremist Muslim as leader of Pakistan...which would mean another
Iran-like situation...which wouldn't help anything in pakistan...it's
like an endless cycle of hell that we seem to be stuck in...

哈哈哈!!! 我們就玩了三首歌因為全場演出已經over run. 那我們怕SKO沒有什麼時間玩他們所玩得歌所以我們決定了自己玩少一點然後給多點時間我們北京來的朋友SKO...謝謝大家的支持和understanding...
again - last night's show was awesome...it's been a long time since
we've only played 3songs at a show...but we decided to only play 3
songs because the whole show was over run anyway and we didn't want
our friends SKO to play only like 4 songs since they came all the
way from beijing. so we decided to cut a bunch of our songs and only
play 3 so that they could have more time...we knew that you guys
wouldn't mind since you guys are so supportive of us!!! it was the
first time that we put a brand new songs first - so it was cool to
see you all go crazy for it!!! "Fen Shen Jian Zheng" is a great song
to open our set with i think!!! :-) actually, tell you the truth - i
have no idea if you guys went crazy...all i know is that i went
nuts...hahahaha...definitely an exciting song to open our set for
me...
can't wait until our november 17th show at a brand new bar in Lan
Kwai Fong...it's going to be great!!! see you there!!!

yo...this stuff with Yahoo.com giving up information about someone
on the internet is really frickin' disappointing. because of yahoo
someone is now going to be in jail for 10 years - not for raping
someone, or stealing something, or killing someone...but for
speaking up about hoping his country can become a better place to
live by making suggestions online about how it can do that. we are
SO lucky that we live in HK and that we can say these things - i am
lucky that i live in HK and i can type this type of stuff on our
website. if we were in china and typed this, then these big stupid
companies like Yahoo would probably tell the government that we are
saying these types of things and i'd be in jail...
yahoo are idiots...

dude - thanks for the show last night everyone!!! that was so much
fun...i loved being able to play in a place where i can just be
stupid on stage and have fun staying stupid things...hahahaha...definitely
a good night. i am TIRED AS HELL NOW THOUGH!!! it's 2am and i have
to get up in 4 hours to go work so i'm keeping this short..
thanks to everyone who came out on a wednesday night...i know it's
such a hard thing to do...but it meant a lot. thanks to all the
bands who didn't accept any money from the organizers and instead
offered to give all that money to the band from beijing! :_) such a
nice thing to do...
anyway...很可惜SKO的經歷是我們非常好的朋友"huang jia si -
PAUL"可是因為他不是北京人他那不到同鄉正(不知道是不是這個字 - 是過來香港的正)...其他SKO的成員拿到了就是他沒有所以應該會留在廣州...sucks

though if you can't come because it's so hard to come watch a show
during the week in HK. we all work ridiculous hours...so if you
can't make it we understand...it's still be a great show though! :-)
hopefully our STW homies will make it...we need them singing along
to MY Family...hahahahha...they're frickin' the KLC Choir now... :-)
our bro Paul who is the manager of SKO can't come to HK!!! we're so
bummed about this...he can't come because it takes 30 days for him
to get his HK pass...if he was from Beijing he would've gotten it in
7 days. sucks...so while his boys in SKO arrive in HK today...he's
going to stay back in Guangzhou...take it easy bro!!!
NOVEMBER 5, 2007:
yo...had a good relaxing weekend...went up to Shenzhen with my
girlfriend just to hang out and get out of HK for awhile...i keep
forgetting how fast things change in China...it's crazy...it's like
overnight something else changes there...we just used the shenzhen
MTR which has the exact same logo as the HK MTR hahahahaha...but it
is cheap as hell and so convenient...even thought it just opened, it
is really getting dirty pretty damn fast!!! crazy...yesterday we
were in Dong Men and it felt like ALL of china was in dong men at
the same time as we were. there were SO MANY frickin' people
there!!! CHI SIN!!!
這個週末真的開心因為終於有時間可以休息...我跟我女朋友去了深圳玩玩...我每次上去內地會忘記上面發展的速度...真的是非常快..好像過了一晚全市可以變了...昨天我們去了東門.
在東門到處是人..好像全國家的人民也跟我們去東門! hahahaha...太多人了...深圳的地鐵非常方便也很便宜...
然後...昨天我們排練了星期三的歌...我們會玩下面六至七首歌next

dude - interesting weekend to say the least...the most exciting part
of the weekend turned out to be friday night. hahahaha...usually
friday night is my most boring night...but this friday night i went
out until late and it turned out to be okay. the rest of the weekend
was just spent doing homework...pretty crap weekend if you ask me. i
think i enjoy it when we have shows to get excited about on
weekends. anyway - Brian said he's edited some LIVE videos from our
Guangzhou shows so hopefully he'll start uploading those soon...
look out for those...
oh - remember those 6 songs that we were going to release on a CD in
China? well - we might be doing something a little more exciting
with them...we'll let you know once we confirm everything...

all i have to say is thank god for friday...but i can't stand waking
up at frickin' 6am everyday to get ready for work. it really is

etc...)...這張CD非常好聽. 還有這張CD是一個美國的hardcore唱片公司發出的! 在他們的myspace你可以看到他們跟誰tour了.

a few days ago the Chinese channel in HK had a great program on TV
about the a bunch South Asians who live in Tin Shui Wai. the program
discussed what it is like for South Asians to grow up in Tin Shui
Wai and all the racism they face and what some of the groups of
South Asians are doing to try and help their people out. most of
them are not rich so they don't have access to things that the
children need help in - especially like extra education like
tutoring etc
