dude…what a long day yesterday…

it started with the usual – being at school doing lots of work. the kids are already on Easter break so on these days we usually are trying to get the classrooms ready with the materials etc…so the whole day was spent doing that…

then after work i had to race over to the peak to do some interviews for Paul’s show…it was kind of cool cause we all just hung out at the EA game center at the peak and played games against each other. i played against Brian of 24 Herbs and we both sucked, then i played against Jackal (drummer of Dear Jane), then i played against Jan (singer of Qiu Hong)…that’s all we really did. it was a bit weird but still fun i guess…the best part was getting Burger King and enjoying that on my way back home…

then when i got home i got to hang out with my beautiful girlfriend for a few hours and then Paul’s assistant called me asking if i was free to record backing vocals to Paul’s song “Let’s Fight”. so i went up to Polar Bear to record backing vocals with the hardpack dudes, jan, 24 herbs…it was a fun night just hanging out and watching all those guys trying to write Chinese lyrics! hahahaha…i got to hang out and watch Youtube while they were all working hard trying to words. then we recorded it and now i’m home at 3am…

going to bed…if you want to hear a little part of this song Let’s Fight – then listen to Inti’s “Zhou Band Si Gan” tonight!!!

Motley Crue, Ratt, Skid Row, White Lion! oh my god…i’d be in heaven! hahahaha…

woohoo!!! i love looking at all those posters from our upcoming asian tour!!! it’s nice to see our name up there on those posters with NOFX on it…i still can’t believe that we’re touring with them. it’s so weird to think about it…in ’94 when i saw them on the very first Fat Wreck Chords tour i would NEVER in my life ever imagine that i would be playing in a band that would be OPENING for them…what? that is SO strange…i don’t think i’ve ever even dreamed something like that would happen because it seems so ridiculous. why would a band from Asia and especially from Hong Kong have this type of weird opportunity? somehow it happened for us…we feel super lucky and hope we can make all of you Hong Kong people and Asians proud as we tear across this continent of ours meeting everyone and enjoying the warm Asian spirit!!!

last night we did an interview with two of our favorite people: Inti and Paul…it was an interview for paul’s upcoming “Let’s Fight” concert in may…it’s going to be awesome maN!!! it was so cool to be doing an interview with Paul again…it’s been such a long time that we’ve done something with him! it was also nice to do an interview with G and Man there…

i’ve got the world’s funniest photo to show you…but i’ll tell you the whole story first…

for our tour we all need to take some passport photos to get some work visas for Indonesia. so we’ve all been taking passport photos the past few days. yesterday it was my turn and i went to take photos at the MTR station.

when i walked into the booth there was already one of those “silly” backgrounds on the screen. it was REALLY stupid and i didn’t know who would’ve chosen this background. anyway – i just set my seat so my face was in the right place. then i pressed the green button to start the machine. but i ttook a photo!! HAHAHAHA!!

so that’s my story…now enjoy the photo! :-)

雖然早已勝券在握,卻一點也不賴。 贏得漂亮,大方得體。單從這次的選舉,他的做事態度有目共睹。
恭喜特首
yo yo yo…hey there’s an awesome interview with the singer of Terror up on lambgoat and i was nice enough to give you a link on our forum: http://forum.talkmusic.org/showthread.php?p=27449#post27449

as man mentioned above…donald won the election…of course he was going to…everyone knew he was going to. so it was weird that when they announced that he won over 600 votes out of like 800 total, that the audience (of course the majority of whom are his supporters) were screaming for joy. that was weird because you already knew he was going to win. leong kah kit already knew donald was going to win. the point of this (i think) is to show that HK is ready for democratic elections. to show that HK people are rational people, and can handle democracy here.

so congratulations to donald for winning an election that was not a challenge, was not a competition, and was not democratic. hopefully in 2012 we will be able to see HK’s first REAL democracy in action.
