happy halloween everyone! :-) i don’t know it can actually be a “happy” thing especially when halloween is supposed to be a festival that has to do with a little bit more evil parts of society a long long time ago…but anyway – have fun today! hahahaha…

okay – bad news for andy…he spent all day yesterday recording his guitar parts for one of the songs on the upcoming split CD…and then after he was done and we were all like – THIS SOUNDS AWESOME!!! i left the bandroom to come home and alex calls me and says the one thing that most musicians hate “dude – the computer froze and we lost everything that andy just recorded!!!” poor guy! SUCKS!!! so he has to do it again tonight…

but there’s good news…at the NOFX show, we’ll have a little “gift” for all of you guys/girls! :-) you’ll find out more about it in the next few days…it OBVIOUSLY has to do with our upcoming split CD…

i LOVE going to places like the place that the show was at last night…none of us have ever been to this place called “Po Ba (Hangout) in Sai Wan Ho…i’ve been to the old one in Kwun Tong but that was the first time last night…

we arrived at the place after we took a van with the stupidest driver in HK…ming almost kicked this dude’s ass…we needed to go to Sai Wan Ho – he made the wrong turn and we ended up having to go all the way to North Point before coming back…idiot…

anyway – we showed up outside this tall building and we’re all wondering “what the hell? where’s the show?”…then the staff of Po Ba show up and tell us that its upstairs in a basketball court. i was like what? there’s a basketball up there? then we went upstairs and came out to this open space on the first floor with a huge chillout area for HK’s teenagers…and a huge basketball court where a stage was erected…

it was awesome! by the time that the audience showed up (all of you! :-) they didn’t even know that two bass amps blew up and that was the THIRD bass amp that everyone was using…it was crazy…bad luck with bass amps…but Ken from warehouse hooked it all up and saved the Touch Music organizers! :-)

thank you so much for all of YOU guys and girls for showing up last night…god – you were all so awesome singing along and dancing along…last night’s show was the first time for a lot of NEW people to see a show like that – from the stage we could see so many people in the back standing there totally SHOCKED! hahahaha…they stood there with their mouths opened and were probably thinking “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? why are all these people going crazy?” HAHAHAHAHA! i LOVE that feeling…it has been a long time since we’ve played a show in front of total strangers…

thanks for moshing and singing along to the new songs…awesome awesome!!! can’t wait to see you all again…our next show is in Macau – you all should come out! hahahaha…

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT!!!

i feel like this has been a LONG LONG week! ever had one of those? where everyday you wake up and you wonder “oh my god – this week is STILL not over! how can it ONLY be thursday!”…its one of those annoying weeks…

spent two hours recordings guitars for one of the songs last night…our new stuff is so damn hard to play…its ridiculous…still have 3 more to go for guitars…then andy’s gotta do it too…

i’m sleepy…can’t write…can’t function…too busy…too much to do…going nuts…hahahaha… :-)

we’ve been so busy with recording that we haven’t even had time to practice…ming’s entire drumset is still at the studio cause he has one more song to do…so we won’t be able to practice before the show on saturday…actually, that’s not true, most bandrooms aren’t as lucky as ours – we actually have two drumkits…ming’s and the one that i bought MANY years ago (when a dude named Fei Hin played for us)…so we can actually still practice on saturday QUICKLY before the show…if we suck – sorry! hahahaha… :-)

okay…i left at midnight last night and ming was still recording “terror” for the split CD…hopefully he finished it…i don’t know – he’s got a tough situation because he needs to finish work, constantly does OT, then has to come to the studio and be annoyed by me who CONSTANTLY is changing songs! hahahaha…so he learned a whole NEW part last night right before recording! that’s hard dude…

anyway – we have one more song to record on drums and we’re done with the drum tracks…pong has been recording bass but none of us want to start guitar tracks until all the bass tracks are done…so we’re waiting for ming to finish up everything…

okay – other then that…some interesting conversation going on on our forum about veganism and some ridiculously racist children pop group in the US…check it out…
