Yesterday’s show was great! Thanks to all those people who came and supported the Warehouse! When I walked in at around 3pm I couldn’t believe how many people were there!!! It was packed!!! The equipment at the warehouse is still a bit screwed up but the new guys taking care of sound are very friendly and helpful so they made everything sound as good as possible. Anyway, we won’t be able to play this coming Friday because I won’t be in Hong Kong BUT please go support this show because there is a BRAND NEW PUNK ROCK band playing their first show!!! The band is called 火墳 and they’re already a little bit nervous about the show!!! Please come out and support! Other bands performing are our other good friends Hardpack and Fat Job!!!

Yesterday’s news report about the man who killed his own children before he committed suicide scared me and broke my heart into a million tiny pieces. The state of our city is getting worse and worse…we wish people would seek help before their own stress or marital problems cause them to do a disgusting act like that – innocent children got hurt. I cannot imagine the fear in the little children’s eyes as they watched their father come attacking them all because he was unable to control his anger, stress and frustration. 2 children died and I believe one is in critical condition – his parents died so when he comes out of danger who is going to take care of the poor little kid? Who is going to take care of the horrible images he will have in his mind for the rest of his life? Its a sad day in Hong Kong…with Hong Kong’s economy continuing to go down, I am scared with what is going to start happing within families all over this city. We should all pray that people learned a valuable lesson from this tragedy…we just hope people aren’t too stubborn to realize that seeking help is THE BEST choice.

A lot of people have been asking us for the lyrics to the new song – don’t worry we’re going to update it either today or tomorrow…I have updated the English section already and Alex will upload the Chinese portion today or tomorrow. ALSO: A lot of very close supporters of King Ly Chee and hardcore in Hong Kong have written to us informing us that on certain messageboards people have been attacking us and the hardcore culture. We are very touched when friends and supporters write to us and tell us how angry they feel when they read messages attacking King Ly Chee – but please don’t be angry. There is no reason to be angry about a message posted on a messageboard – remember that people should ALWAYS BE FREE to make their own decisions and choices. If they choose to hate us then that’s fine – of course we hope that they have a REAL reason to hate us…but most of the time they don’t have a good reason. They just hate us and there is nothing we can do. One of the arguments right now on certain messageboards is that people say that we just use music as a tool. They attack us because we use music to talk about our feelings towards society. They attack us because we use music as a tool to take care of our emotions. They attack us because we use music as a tool to make us feel happy when we’re sad, make us calm down when we’re angry, make us feel relaxed when something bad happens to us in our jobs or in our lives. Yes – we use music. Yes – music is a tool for us. But music is a tool for you too. Your mind has just not matured enough yet for you to realize that EVERYONE who listens to music, listens to music for a REASON. At the end of the day, the reason YOU listen to music is because it makes you feel happy. So music is a tool for your happiness. Anyway – thanks again for making King Ly Chee a topic on your messageboard…you don’t even realize that EVEN when you complain about us – you are still promoting us! Thanks! We should pay you money for promoting us!!!
